raymond_piganiol1
My M8 is in Germany right now having it's sensor treated. I got a red figure onthe center in all my pictures suddenly. The figure looks like a fish. Could itbe a red herring ? Leica France lent me a silver demo M8 until mine is fixed. Itworks very well. Never heard of such a defect before today? andrewlamb
The fish, which is actually magenta in colour, only appears on images captured on April 1st.

Alex_Es
Raymond, you got an M8! My problem was a red horizontal line on the right hand side. Maybe it was trying to catch your fish. Nice of Leica to provide us with demos while our M8s are being serviced in Germany.

ron_breeze2
It was an upside down dollar sign.
len_smith
The red figure is 1120 Euros. It tells you that your shutter and LCD need to be upgraded at a cost of 1120 Euros.
