hey everyone,

 

what is the best time of the day for this?

 

trying to make a reservation for the day cruise. we can either leave at 8 am

from waweep or at 10 am.

 

they say it takes about 2 hours to get from the marina to the bridge and then

the walk up to the viewing area.

 

so the question is early or later better?

Find out if the earlier boat will be less crowded. They usually are.

When I visited the Bridge in 2005, I arrived relatively early in the day, but we had our own boat. The light was already a bit too harsh but still nice enough for some photos. I'd suggest you arrive earlier rather than later.

The Lake is down. Almost a 1.61 km hike to the Bridge.

 

In the last few years we have had a large influx of haze from China, LA, and Vegas. It has made later day pictures quite dull and icky.

 

I suggest getting there as early as you can.
