Canon 5D purchase

Great price. You should check the exposure meter and meter modes (evaluative, centre and spot, EV compensation), shooting modes (Av, Tv, M, etc.), autofocus operation and AF point selection, sensor condition, flash shoe & flash operation (FEC), DOF preview button, viewfinder diopter adjustment, menu entries and controls (speed dial, set button, etc.). If possible, you should try to borrow it for an evening or so, along with the manual, a Canon EF lens, and an EX flash. Go through the manual and try out everything. Great way to learn about the camera; both how it should work and how it actually does work. Check for front/back focus, and look carefully for signs of water damage and being dropped.
