Question for CPS members

So,

I have my first loan from CPS a Mark III and 16-35 2.8 II

I had them delivered to my office (I'm a PJ at a newspaper) They were delivered

on a Friday and sat in the receptionist office until Monday.

So, I missed out on three days with the loaned gear.

My question is how strict is CPS about getting it back to them by the due date?

I know NPS will send you a bill if you don't get it back in time and just to

remind you.

Will Canon freak out if I don't it in their hands on the due date?

I'm in the US if that matters.

I think you have to consider the fact that the camera you have loaned may be committed to another photographer in need based on your return date. If you send it late he will be upset and I'm sure Canon will hear about it from him and I expect you will hear from Canon.

Ask CPS if an extension is possible and keep your benefits open for the future.

Take Care, Pete
