john_graham5
Hello all Can someone tell me if this is a flash drive and not a "normal" harddrive with moving parts? http://www.trekstor.de/en/products/detail_hdd.php?pid=20&cat=0 I have googled it but could not find a confirmation of this. It it is a flash drive then I will seriously consider it because it is small and more stable than a hard drive with moving parts. Thanks in advance John
randmcnatt
Well, the website does say it's a microdrive, which is industry lingo for itty-bitty hard drive, and that it's a 1.8" Hard Disk, and it's listed under Hard Drives, so it's probably a 1.8" hard disk drive. I'm not sure what you googled for, but trekstor DataStation microdisk got me 127,000 hits and, as far as I can tell, nobody thinks its a flash drive. rainer_t
Click on the "technical data" tab on the webpage you mentioned ... there is "Memory: 20GB, 80GB, 120GB" ... in this sizes, you can clearly bet on it using a harddrive.
