dirk_dom1
Hi. I bought a Fuji GX 617 panoramic camera, with 90 and 180mm lens. It came without a manual, but after some careful experimenting (& wasting some film) I think I have it all figured out. With one exception. On the net, it is mentioned that there is a Lithium battery that triggers the shutter, if you use the shutter button on the body. I read it should last about 20.000 cycles, which of course is huge for this kind of camera. I can't find a battery door anywhere. Does that mean the battery is not user serviceable? Anyone? Thank you, Dirk.

sergio_ortega7
Dirk, I rented a Fuji 6x17 a few years back...I don't think it had a battery. I'm not sure if it was this particular model, though.

dirk_dom1
Found out the battery door position on the large format forum: it's located behind the "Fuji GX617" label. Just slide that away. Dirk.
