bruce_mattes
Can anyone tell me the number of 82mm filters that may be used on this lens without incurring vignetting??.. Thanks, Bruce
tom_harvey3
Just one can be used, and a thinner one works best especially if it's a polarizer. TH
harvey_edelstein1
If you scan your film you can add filtration digitally in software.
dougmiles
"If you scan your film you can add filtration digitally in software." I've heard this contention before, but I'm doubtful that it can be equivalent in effect. Certainly not for polarizers, right? And not for UV/IR cut filters either, or IR pass filters. And this brings up doubt about the rest... But it would be nice to avoid the slight optical degradation caused by the presence of the filter, if there is truly a software solution. bruce_mattes
If only a single 82mm filter may be used without vignetting, will using 95mm filters on this lens allow stacking without vignetting??.. Thanks, Bruce
thomas_taylor2
Bruce, I use the 45mm and 55mm on my P67II. Slim type circular filters will not vignett with those lens but you can only use one at a time. I ended up solving that problem by switching to a Cokin Z filter holder and 4x4 filters. Now I can place two or more filters on the lens without vignetting. Thomas
joanne_lax
I've been using a P-series Cokin on my 45mm Pentax 67 lens without vignetting. Anyone else tried this with same success? Health, Peace Joanne
