suzanne carey
Hi guys. My wedding packages offer 4x6 prints in a basic "proof album" as I call them. They are very basic and help me keep the cost down for the price range of brides I cater to. The bride and groom love their pictures so much that they are ready to move them into a more substantial album. They are looking for an "heirloom" quality album (that is what they called it) where you insert the pictures. Within this album are precut slots for different picture sizes...5x7, 4x6, etc. as well as orientation some vertical, some horizontal. Has anyone ever seen or heard of an album such as this. They do not like the "coffee table" type of wedding album but prefer an old school look and feel. If you can point me in the right direction I would most appreciate it. Sincerely, Suzanne Carey

jc5066
Sounds like they want a traditional album offered by professional photographers.
keithdunlop
I use Leather Craftsmen for my flush-mount albums, and they also offer a great selection of traditional matted albums. If your wants a high-end "heirloom" quality album, you want to get your products from a quality book binder.
toi
Hi Suzanne, I like the Flora Professional Albums, spcifically the Elite series. They have several styles and sizes, and have dozens of mat choices with gold or silver edges. Go to their website at www.floraalbums.com to get a list of deistibutors. Personally, I go through Taprell Loomis (www.tap-usa.com). Hope this helps!
brooke_moore
Albums Inc has a huge selection of manufacturers that offer matted style albums in both bound styles and covers with inserted pages. The web site show things well and you should be able to show the client some options and price ranges. Rennaisance books come in tons of colors and with a range of mat options that should make anyone happy Brooke

jeffrey_blake_adams
Albums Inc, BTW you are very lucky, most who give 4x6 proofs, have their work scanned and printed by the family and never know it. J
joeb
I would suggest you request a tap catalog. http://www.tap-usa.com/Catalog/Default.aspx You can look online too. They sell albums from bound mid level flush mount to traditional ones with inserts and mats. You will need to find one of their dealers to buy from. Some of the items like mats for the traditional albums only come in packages of 10 so, you will most likely have some left overs.
desiraelynn
I use Capri Albums. They have fantastic slip in albums. The pages are really thick and the brides love them.
