gale
The post below got me to thinking how much I love my Vivitar Series 1 28-90. I seldom shoot a filter on it, but rather let the lens capture the nice warm colors the way it can. Here are some shots showing how well the lens holds up with out filters:<div></div>

wildwoodgallery
Wow. Your phtoos are great!!! Who needs a digital camera :). Which camera did you use? Was the Velvia 50 hard to scan or not? Rick
paul_beavin
David--excellent stuff! Velvia 50 is superb--nothing brings out the colors like that film! Fun to project, too! More please!! where was the waterfall? Paul
gale
thx for your kind words. All shots but the fall aspens were Glacier Park. The Falls is Running Eagle Falls near East Glacier. The small falls were shot on the south boundry road. Velvia 50 is decently easy to scan on my Nikon 5000. Sometimes one has to do a bit of photoshop work to get the shot close to the slide...which is perfect. All these were shot with my F-1. I also shoot Velvia thru my A-1 which has an accurate meter. Thx again for your kind words.
frederick_muller
Great shots! The Vivitar 28-90 is a nice lens, and the one I carry when I only want to carry one on the F-1. The first shot of the waterfall is nice, but I really like the second shot of the fall colors ... you should blow that one up for a wall.
scrivyscriv
Superb images! I've been shy at trying third party lenses, but your work with that Vivitar is absolutely convincing me.
