yefimovich_ilia
Would the 30mm work with my ROllei 6003 and If it will is it really a fish-eye lens like the Nikon 16mm fish-eye!? or it's more like nikon's 20mm lens?! I was thinking of getting the 50mm and soddenly I found the 30mm used in some shop in Moscow(where form i order my gear) and I was thinking maybe go wider than 50mm... what can you say about the 30mm lens?? shambrick007
The 30 is a fisheye.
stuart_richardson
If you go to Patrick Harbron's website and go to portfolios, then "A little to the left", photos 2, 12, 13, 15 and perhaps some others are taken with the 30mm lens (on a hasselblad, but it is the same lens). His website is here: http://www.patrickharbron.com/ <P>He loves the lens, but it is definitely a fish-eye.
mskovacs
F-Distagon: F = fisheye A special purpose lens for sure. I'd get a 50mm Distagon first.
erik scanhancer
Yes, the 30mm fisheye will work on your 6003, as long as it is a system 6000 version of the lens. It is a full frame fisheye, meaning that it shows a square, cut out of a circle. Diagonally from one corner to another it covers 180 degrees viewing angle. erik scanhancer
Also have a look at this thread: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00L9gH
jean-louis llech
Ilia, don't forget that between the 30mm and the 50mm there is an amazing 40mm. It's maybe the answer to your question.
