amine_sultan
Hi all,Is there any cross-system mount adapter allowing to use Pentax 645 lenses on another 645 digital system (Mamiya AFD, ZD or even Contax...) ? I already googled the topic (Zork, Novoflex) and didn't find anything. So, I suspect the Pentax bayonet mount to be larger than the others, making it impossible to adapt it, something like Canon lenses on Nikon bodies. Pentax lenses are so brilliant and cheap nowadays that it really makes sense to use them for digital even if you loose some automatisms. Too bad Pentax did abandon his Pentax 645 digital project... Thanks,
steve graham
If you want cheaper lenses for a 645 system then one option is to see if you can get an adaptor and use Pentacon 6 lenses. I use a couple of Carl Zeiis lenses (Flektogon 50mm F4 & Biometar 80mm F2.8) with my Pentax 645.
xato
There are some people adapting P645 lens for Mamiya, especially for stellar lens such as the FA 35mm, but they are machining new mounts for the lens. There are no off-the-shelf adapters that might do this. If you want to use the P645 lens, just buy a Pentax body, they are cheap enough.
