tom_berkowski
Camera save RAW + large jpg for every picture. After downloading my pictures to my computer, I have lots of duds which I want to delete before working on the good ones. I find DPP to be very slow with this. I have to delete each RAW, then the JPG, confirm, etc. I'd like to be able to select multiple pictures, then delete them all. Shift and CTL don't seem to work for that. Alternatively, I can use Windows file folder which will show the jpg version as preview, but the advantage of DPP is that my portrait picures show as portrait automatically. With windows, I need to turn my head. Any suggestions?
javier_gonzalez9
well what I do is that I quick check them first and the ones I don't like I check them with 1 after I'm done I then sort them via check number and delete all of the ones I checked 1. I don't shoot Raw+jpeg haven't got the necessity for it.
petemillis
You can select multiple images in DPP - just hold Ctrl while clicking them with left mouse button. Then his delete and confirm. Provided you haven't set DPP to show just the RAW files or just the JPG files then it will show them all.
tom_berkowski
Pete is right. I tried it before aas CTRL works in other Microsoft applications, but I didn't notice the very slight shading that indicated that multiple items are selected. I'll also just tag the duds as the other person recommended, then CTRL select delete. Thanks.
zackojones
I use ZoomBrowser to quickly go through images to delete the ones I don't want to keep. It's much faster for doing that sort of thing than DPP is.
