john_sarsgard1
I'd like to minimize the hair on the young lady's arms. Healing brush and clone stamp don't work well. Is there a usual way of doing this?

patricklavoie
1_a razor 2_ a_selecting rapidly the *problem* zone (take more than you need) b_copy and paste on another layer c_using the filter dust and scratch until the hair go away d_applying a mask on this layer fill with black e_change the layer mode from normal to lighten f_using a brush with white as the foreground color to remove the mask on the arm and show you the resulting effect. g_play with the opacity to get back some hairs so that could look a bit more natural. i think around 60% should be good. Indeed the girl will have a softer arm as a result..but its better than having a arm full of hairs : )
emre
Challenging... I applied Imagenomic Portraiture then tried lightening the rest but it did not look any better, so I left it at what I got with Portraiture. The goal is not to eliminate it, because that would not be realistic, but to make it draw less attention.<div></div>
will king
Could probably be done by perhaps sampling from another part of the body that doesn't have hair. Don't be fooled though. It will take a lot of work to make it look natutal. Probably be better by just using a razor as Patrick suggested. Wow, that's a lot of hair. john_sarsgard1
I could not make it look natural with either healing brush or clone stamp sampled elsewhere. Emre's effort looks better. thanks to all.

mrossi
If the client uses your shot for a dating site, their dates will be in for a big surprise! Nair works well too but I don't know if there's a Nair plug-in for Photoshop :)
