Neckstrap Conversion: H-series to V-series

I have an extra H-series neckstrap (balistic nylon, embroidered "Hasselblad",

rubber lined). It has metal hook attachments to fit into the eyelets on the

H-Series camera, but they can be removed from the strap. I was curious to know

if there is a V-series neckstrap that I could remove the hooks from and thread

onto the H-series strap in order to use it with my 500c. If anybody knows of an

inexpensive yet secure-attaching strap that would be suitable for this, or if

there is somewhere I could purchase the hooks separately, it would be greatly

appreciated.

The hooks are not available seperately as far as I know.

I suggest you find an old used strap for a V series camera and remove the hooks.

A pity to ruin a perfect old strap for this purpose!

The choice of starps for V series is rather large.

Are you sure there is not an original strap that will suit you?

I'm hoping to find an off-brand strap to mutilate as to not ruin an original. I prefer the look of the newer strap as I've gone to great lengths to "modernize" my 500c (Accumatte screen, new leather covering).

Brad,<br><br>Op/Tech's Type A connectors should fit a V-System Hasselblad. Op/Tech's modular straps use separate connectors, and i believe these cost about US$ 10 a pair.
