melvin_krick
Hello. I have a SX-70 manual focus. The problem is that the camera sounds like its taking pics, but it does not spit out the photo. Must be something in the ejection motor drive. Is this an easy fix or does it require a trained repair tech? Any info on how to fix it would be appreciated. profster@merr.com
patrick j dempsey
If the film is really old the battery in the film pack might be dead?
Troll
Try a new box of film
alexander_illich
Sounds just like mine! Can you close the camera?
Matthew Currie
I've had that problem with bad film packs too. Even if the battery had plenty of juice, something inside seems to stick or bind, and the film doesn't eject, or when it ejects it comes out streaked and messy. I'd try a new film pack first. vinny_walsh
There's an indentation in the corner of the fim pack on the top left (top left if you're looking at the camera as you insert the pack) that must be clear. If you're using 600 film and have a nd filter attached, that could be in the way. The mechanism in the back of the camera may not be engaging the pack. john carter
Does anyone want to buy a low mileage SX-70?
glenn_mabbutt
Darn it, John, where you were last month :p I picked up an SX-70 (Sonar), and I have to say I'm intrigued with it - a little modification and it's usable with the 600 film packs (not cheap, but semi-plentiful). There is an interesting quality to Polaroids...
