Good DVD side show program?

I have about 240 photo's from my recent vacation and wanted to make a DVD slide

show of the works. I tried Nero software and it can make one but has a limit of

99 photo's. I looked on the web and saw some nice ones but saw they also had a

max of 99 photo's.

 

Are there any real good DVD slide show programs out there that allow for as

many photo's that will fit on the DVD?

I would suggest Adobe Premiere Elements. Actually a video editing software, but easy to use, and easy to make transitions and menus.

Nero has a mode that will let you burn more than 99 images as long as you don't try to use transition effects. I use the effects so I'm not 100% sure what mode it is, and knowing Nero's software it's probably buried deep and very hard to find. I accidentally ended up in this mode and it let me put 600 images into a slide show. Then when I tried to add my first effect it gave me the message about only allowing 99 per section.

 

You do realize it's only a limit on images per section right? The sections play back to back when you play your show so it's really not that big of a deal. You can have as many images in a slide show as will fit on the disk.
