mc2imaging
If you have the current firmware (1.3) and Pentax Remote Assistant 3.0, you can connect a K10D and a computer (Mac or PC) via USB. The images captured are saved on the computer's hard drive as they are taken. Of course, there is no 'Live View' functionality (like my wife had while working for LifeTouch), and I haven't tested it but I would guess that the transfer rate is slower over USB than direct to a card. The software is free, so I would recommend just downloading and playing with it to see if it will fit your needs.

danny_wong2
Remote assistant is more for controlling the camera remotely than a review program. I usually open the jpg part of the image in a separate viewer after saving the downloaded image. Depending on your computer's USB connection it might be up 15 sec to get the RAW+jpg transferred. trw
I played with it a bit, and with my laptop (iBook G4) it was so slow to respond to control changes that I went back to shooting un-tethered. I can see that it would be useful in situations where you have static lighting and composition and need instant downloads though, such as santa photos or catalogueing small items, etc. It might also be a completely different experience with a more up-to-date computer.
