Whereas other countries seem to have stock problems, I've always found that you can usually find what you're looking for in Korea. One thing to note though is if you opt for the 'Korean Nikon' over the 'Japanese Nikon' you'll pay an extra $100. Thus uis because the warrenty of the Korean is 2 years, whereas the warrenty of the Japan is only one year. If you're only visiting then thats not really a problem! (subway line number 1, stop #135). I just asked the prices two days ago (Jan 27 2008) and with Japanese warranty you can find D300 for about 1.600.000 won. (won 1M ~$1k) D300 + 70-200VR -- will be about 3.200.000 to 3.300.000 won. With worldwide warranty -- + 100.000, with Korean warranty -- + 200.000. Good luck.
