bill_keane2
I just made this suggestion to another person regarding their printing question and thought I'd say more here to my Nikon freinds who are always so helpful... MPIX.com is producing wonderful 11x8.5 hardcover books for a lot less than you'd expect. Using their stock paper, you get a bound volume that is a great way to save/archive your best work. I'm going to be doing one every so often, because I can't print/frame everything I like, but it's nice to be able to show your finest images to interested people. I read an article on them in PopPhoto, and they're everything and more than you'd expect in terms of quality. Get one done and I can almost guarantee you'll be hooked. TIP: use their stock paper -- the satin looks too silvery (which you may like, though).
hiro
I've also used shutterfly.com and received excellent results. A hardbound book makes a great finished product. I do want to try mpix.com as I have heard their product quality is even better.

linda_roina
I've made excellent books with iPhoto through Apple. I mainly make birthday books for my grandchildren. A little something to keep as the years pass by.
bill_keane2
I think iPhoto was the standard to judge others by -- and maybe still is. You Mac people are so lucky. For PC users, MPIX, to my eyes, matches what I've seen from iPhoto. When people saw what I got back they thought it was a commercially published book.
