david_z.
Very new to the flash/strobe world and would love some advice.Just ordered a wiresless trigger with 3 receivers from Gadget Infinity (yes - they're very cheap!)I have a nikon sb-800 now and am looking for 2 other flashes to complete the set up. I need to be able to manually adjust each of their outputs and have them sync with the sb-800 I already have.I will be using this for portraits/headshots and would prefer to get 2 flashes that are easy to adjust and are inexpensive. Any suggestions? Thanks!David
dottie_di_liddo
The SB 600 works well with the 800 & is quite affordable. Dottie
twmeyer
Some Nikons can control CLS with their pop up flash. What camera do you have?... t

scottconners
The current popular choice for off camera manual shoe flash on a budget is the Vivitar 285 HV. It has great power, manual control, and is under $100.
