craig_supplee
First time out on Tmax 100. Scanned on my brand new 4490. Tweaked in PS.
rgeorge911
Very nice! I've never seen one of these cameras (but saw that it's a folder in Google images). Is it 120 or 35mm? Nice shot. Reed
craig_supplee
Thanks Reed! It's a 120 6x6 format. Had it on a trip out west along with my Nikon D40. Quite a switch to use. Has zone focus, no meter, so it really slows down your picture taking. Nice in a way. Craig
jess_lantz2
Very nice scan job! and of course, the picture too! What were your scan settings? I've got the same scanner but haven't used it in a while. I just started packing an Ansco speedex and it does sloooow you down compared to my Canon 20d Digital. It's just too easy and I have to fight laziness....... Thanks, Jess
craig_supplee
Thanks Jess. I scanned that pic at 2400dpi. I have all other settings (sharpen, dust, etc) turned off. Scan only took about 2 min. I have read where people were getting 10 min. scans. I am going to try one at 4800dpi and see how that works. Speed is not an issue with me, as I will only scan the occasional film neg or tranny for work in PS. Craig
john carter
I like that, obviously a great camera. I use TMax 100 but I have never tried it with my 120. Think I will
david_m
Please post in JPG or GIF format, not all browsers will open a TIF, mine wont.
craig_supplee
Sorry about that. My first picture post, so I have to refine my approach in this matter. I don't have a photo hosting site, so I just let photo.net put the pic where it needed to go. Any photo sizing, etc. advise is appreciated. bernard_lazareff
Plus JPG at moderate compression (1/6 to 1/10) will vastly decrease file size and download time with no noticeable loss of quality.
luis triguez
Craig, That Zuiko 75 is splendid, so the picture. There must be a 6 X 4.5 mask somewhere in case you like rectangular pictures.<div></div>
craig_supplee
Luis, Thanks for getting the pic up! Last name is spelled a little haywire, but that's ok. LOL. I've got the mask, but I have a Fuji GS645 for that format.
shadowfox
Craig, I'm jealous, I've been hunting for that camera for a while now :) The picture is awesome in detail and subject. Zuiko lens at work.
craig_supplee
I got lucky. One popped up locally that was in excellent condition. It will definitely be a keeper.
