vic_.
Courtesy of The Daily Mail: http://tinyurl.com/2lbqgl A Leica MP and Agent Provocateur Underwear makes for a complete Leica Man! Andpink, ass-less chaps for those discreet "street photogs" who don't wish to drawattention to the camera.
bobatkins
Personally I don't particularly lust after anything on that list!
erikhaugsby
"With a very quiet shutter release, this takes excellent quality pictures in the dimmest of lights with a manually operated and adjustable flash." Flash? FLASH!?
andyaitken
I think they also forgot to cost in the lens and flash... I could live with the MP (although not in the blue leather) and DB5 - not so sure about the other crap.
Uncle Goose
I don't want anything on that list. I only want a Flexaret Vb "Einhorn" and that wasn't on the list.
raymond_tai
My kid's teeth are coming out crooked so I will delay my retirement party for another three years. Some lucky dentist is going to pick up that ugly blue MP.
charles_hess2
I'd have to agree with some of the others...there is nothing on that list that I'd be interested in having/purchasing, whether I was wealthy or not.
ericd
The real Leica collector list : - Ur-Leica - Leica A - Leica B - Leica C - Leica D - Leica E - Leica I - Leica II - Leica III - Leica IIIa - Leica IIIb - Leica IIIc - Leica IIIb - Leica IIIf and so on... ;-)
ericd
BTW is there any model here interested wearing only a Leica MP, Agent Provocateur Underwear and Pierre Hardy shoes ;-)

thomas_hardy1
Some people at RFF must have seen that list too. You'll find them talking about fancy fountain pens as well as collecting Leicas.
ericd
A big mistake IMO. An Agent Provocateur Underwear with the girls that fits inside is more interesting that any fancy fountain pen...
ericd
Seriously... Hmm well not that much... Who or what is the most reliable. The Leica, the DB5 or the girl with Agent Provocateur underwear ?
bobtodrick
Hell...I already have all of them...I guess there's nothing else to look forward to. Seriously, the only thing on the list I'd really like (and it nowhere approaches lusting) is the Vespa. Gotta be the coolest summer transportation around in my mind. Would go great with my old IIIg which sadly is gone.
frank uhlig
May I suggest to die first and lust laster. And for material things at that, after all, what a waste of one's life. Are there any artists, crazy, madcap, driven and self-driving ones? Any driven photographers around here, or only stymied materialists suffering from GAS? We need to lust after artistic expression, the creation of beauty and sense in our pictures etc ... not to own a baseball, an ur-leica, a rare lens, but rather to have created a rare and captivating image or two. lee_shively
I gotta admit, there's nothing about a blue Leica that stirs any lust whatsoever.
ericd
Bob I'm not sure the IIIg is the perfect match for the Vespa. A Rolleiflex and a Vespa was the basic equipment for the Roman paparazzi.
blowingsky
It's probably something overactive in me, but I look at that list and see each of those items employed by me in one weird-but-incredible evening in Monte Carlo...except I can see I would ALSO need some duct tape, bolt cutters, the kind of spray paint that guarantees adhesion to security camera lenses (maybe christmas tree spray flocking would work), a bottle of Karma tequila and three or four passports -- each for a different country -- with my picture in them. lol1
So typically Daily Mail: a frigging Vespa instead of a real motorcycle (make mine a RS1150).
chromatic-aberration
Omega? Pshaw, that's sooooo pedestrian. Pick yourself up a nice Patek Philippe. Better. Vespa? I won't even go there. You can have your grand Left Bank delusions on your own time.
