ronald_moravec1 Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 VR has better optics and VR helps to stabilize the image. I love mine for a lightweight walk around lens. Lots of plastic construction, buy you get a five year warrantee if you send the card in fast. For $1500 you can have the best 70/200 2.8 VR. Better built and faster and heavier/larger.
