d miles
I'm back in the rangefinder world again, having just purchased my third IIIf. I end up selling them, and then find again I can't live without one. Anyway, getting ready to shoot, I had let my film trimmer go with my last Leica. I know the original ones are expensive, but I had purchased a copy last time, and I find them a great help in spooling film on the LTM. Does anyone have a line on where to buy one? Thanks! len_smith
You can often find inexpensive copies on the auction site. Just search on "ABLON".

Troll
"in the brief time i had a iiig i cut it by hand...pita...why bother?"<P>So you'll know that it's been done right, and worry less about having problems. (I have gallently censored the remainder of my answer.)
d miles
Dang, I should have waited for Erik's reply; I bought one on EBay for $18.00. Oh well...
john_r._fulton_jr.
DON'T sell Leica stuff. Just buy. Then there are no regrets. Also, whatever price you paid you have no regrets, since you're never going to sell it anyway. Buy, don't sell. Keep chanting that.

mark_ehlers
I just bought a Zorki 1(e), and not having a template (and my unsual impatience), I tried cutting the film myself freehand. I've gone through three rolls since last weekend, cutting each one this way and have not had a problem.
