pmeylan
Does anyone have experience with such a combination ? Is the lens too heavy for the camera ? I know the bag bellow is unexpensive but is it really necessary for the movements needed in lanscape shooting ?
toddr
I have the 90/5.6 SWD and it's a big beast. There is room for movements with a standard bellows - at least as much as I've needed in my landscapes. A 90 doesn't need much. But it IS heavy and front rise needs to really be torqued down to stay put. To me it's usable but unwieldy.
anton_de_flon
I use a Rodenstock 6.8/90 on my Shen Hao HZX45-AII and I think anything much heavier would take a discomforting amount of force to lock securely in place with the little knobs in the front. In terms of movements I am completely satisfied with an 11mm recessed lens board. This makes a surprising improvement over a standard lens board, which allows hardly any rise/fall with the 90.
