brandon.r.foster
According to them, in a word yes. Check here for more details. Brandon. eric friedemann
As Brandon notes, Metz claims the 58 AF-1 works is fully-compatible with Nikon's wireless system. I just don't see paying $350 for a 58 AF-1 when I can get SB-800s with the same power and features I want for $315.
frank_skomial
It is about time for 3rd party vendors to catch up with the Nikon CLS technology... Earlier entries from Sigma, Metz, and Quantum, were missing some CLS features, as well as reliability, and compatibility. Anyone can give assurance that those older problems are now fixed ? Can Metz in CLS/iTTL command flashes from Quantum, Sigma, or Nikon flashes ? Can Nikon commander command Metz as remotes ? Why Metz expresses 1/125 sec as a limit ?
