mamiy 645 wide angle 35mm N

I recently bought the 35mm N lens for the 645, I wanted to post an image taken

with it. when i was doing research on this lens, there was lots of threads

about it but only one sample and it was color so i want to post a pic tanken

of part of my farm for future researchers.<div></div>

I have the older C version of this lens and it is great-- except for the barrel distortion... does the N version show much distortion?

so far i havnt noticied any distortion, most of the threads that i have read about this lens before i bought it said to stay away from the older c lens, i guess because of the distortion, and some said it just wasnt a sharp lens at all, the N seems to be pretty good though. this shot was done doing hyperfocal focusing.

BTW those light dots in the fog are dust on my negative. the only problem i have seen with this lens so far is the filter size 77mm i dont have any filters to fit it, all mine are 58mm.. so i have to invest in a few of those. I also read that a couple of ppl had trouble with there lens focusing at infinity, it must be a mechanical thing on those particular lenses, this one seems fine. best regards

I have the AF version. There is some slight barrel distortion, but it is easily corrected in

photoshop if you've scanned or shot digital.

Thanks for the example. I had read a lot about the 35 vs 45 as well. Based on that, my plan has been to get the 45mm. Now it appears the 35 N is a perfectly good lens.
