brian_shimla
We have been maintaining two websites for our wedding business, one - who are we, etc. and two - our proof viewing site (with photosite.com). With photosite closing we are wondering if we should look for another similar site (we like this one, inexpensive, passworded albums, flash albums, easy upload all at once?), or try to look at incorporating it into our main site. Thoughts on either option, or suggestions on a new provider with very similar options.
edward_brewington
I like using Collages.net. Everything is secure, easy uploading.Courteous staff when you need them. Another photo hosting site that just came on line is Burrell Pro Labs "online printit" site. Not as full featured as Collages, but cheaper. Why assume any head ache when you don't have to? Good luck
aka eve adams
Try smugmug, or check your pro labs in the area for proofing sites, you can link them to your new site.
mag_miksch
IMO it looks more serious for the customers to watch the proofs on your own site instead of beeing linked to another.^^
buckry
I use 4 different hosts for my business. I have a who we are page with a few samples and our pricing on my main domain, then our gallery is with another host, our proofing is with yet another, and my blog is on another. I choose the best company to do each of these tasks rather than stick with just 1 that may only do 1 thing well. I'm very happy with my webpage setup even though on the backend it's just a tiny bit confusing. The front end is totally seamless, aside from the address bar on my gallery, there is never any indication that my users have left my original pages on my domain.
