lauralarson
Doing a little research on 9x13 ft. High Key backgrounds. The Lastolite is North of 350.00. B&H has a High Key for 80.00 plus dollars. Can anyone tell me the difference and is it worth the money to go with the Lastolite? Thanks, Laura Larson
brooks short
Laura, I can't find the B&H High Key bkgd. Do you have a link? The Lastolite is much more than a white twistflex background. It's actually what amounts to as a large, vertical softbox which you place your light into. Sort of like a 3-dimensional silk. Seems like a deal for $350 though it requires more work to transport and setup. Still, it seems ideal for in the studio.
adzy
I assume a high key background is marketed for high key photos. In which case you dont really need a special one- you could just get a gray background and turn it any colour by gelling the light and controlling the light intensity- even white. Is there a specific reason you are looking for this particular one ?
