ray_locke
Anyone been to Yosemite this June (2007) that can report on current conditions in the valley? Temps look fairly normal but is it hot or cold in Yosemite Valley? Will you need an extra blanket or a fan at night? Waterfalls look low on webcams, are they? With the lack of rain in the region are the skeeters bad this year? Any insight would be great. Thanks.
hugh_sakols
Ray, I live in El Portal. This is a very dry year and Yosemite Falls is quite low for this season. The mosquitoes have not been the problem they are during wet years. I imagine you may have a few at night but you won't be swarmed. I imagine sleeping in the Valley will be comfy. Have a great trip. I've already been hiking up high 11000 ft and their is little snow. Have a great trip.
ray_locke
Just what I was looking for. Thanks. Never can tell what the weather will do. Have been there in June and could not sleep at night it was so warm and then was there in another June it got cold. This will help me pack. Thanks again!
