santer36
can anyone tell me a "cheaper" website to buy props and or posers for babies, and young children. i know this is an expensive buisness but its tough trying to get started with the price of these things! also, i built my own "building blocks" 16" x 16" now to paint them...any suggestions what type of paint to use? its built of wood. but i don't want problems of them looking too dull or having glares. thanks in advance. joe
m3rdpwr
Just looking to see what people come back with as I am curious myself. I have friends with kids and I'm always looking for new ways to prop them up without spending a bunch... -Mario
lukefoto
I've picked up a number of props from craft stores (e.g. Michaels, etc.) that are either cardboard or paper mache (made out of a tough cardboard-like brown paper). My favorites are a set of three building blocks that nest for easy storage. The largest block is probably 9 inches square, and I painted them in pastel colors with craft paint. I've gotten other similar things, like boxes and other small things that I've painted/antiqued for a different look. If you have any kind of painting skills, it's easy. These objects are very light weight and easy to store.
