schnellimages
So, I am trying to decide if I am going to plunk down some fairly big money on album creation software (either Yervants or YouSeeIt). Both look very good, and are comparably priced. I am creating templates in PS now, and am comfortable with the process - but it is time consuming. If there is something out there that can let me do an album in a couple of hours, than I am definately interested. Any experience out there with either, Pros and Cons? I have actually seen some feedback on Yervants here, but was wondering about YSI. Thanks.
bdp
I bought Yervants v3.5, it's up to 4 now. I really like it for helping me start albums, then I tweak as needed. I tried YSI and just didn't like the feel.
john at storybook pages
We used to use Page Gallery but there are so many templates that it took me so much time to pick out the template that best fit the images I wanted in the next spread...that it was faster - and more creative to just design them from scratch. And, when I used Page Gallery, I was still tweaking the PSDs that came out anyway. More time. Any other experience like this?
chris76
Hi Bob, I was in the same ship and went with the YSI software and to date I have had no problems. I did not try the Yervant so I cannot offer an opinion on both. When compared on the examples on both website's the YSI had a bit more of a classic feel to it. Yervants looked vey clear cut but like I said this is only compared on the sites. I found the YSI to have no bugs after 4 albums. The functionality of saving and designing your own templates in the long run is a great benefit. I mailed them beforehand and asked if they had any specials running. They offered 4 additional sets of templates so mail them before you buy. Good luck Chris
barry_davis___st._louis__m
i use to do my albums from scratch, just photoshop....and then came Yervants PG. It saves me tons of time. As the others have stated, I still tweek the PSD's, but as artist, that should be expected. I truly love the interface of Page Gallery. My time for album creation is quite lower now. schnellimages
Thanks to all. It seems as if they both have benefits. I suppose I cannot go wrong either way. Thanks again for your time.
