scott_gardner1
Anyone know of a online table/chart that shows all Pentax models and basicfunctions? This one: http://www.butkus.org/chinon/ultimate_k-mount.htm is a good start but obviously incomplete. BTW, I copied and converted this toExcel. If you want a copy of the file, let me know and I'll email it to youwith my additions. In any case, are there Pentax/Pentax compatible bodies other than the oneslisted here that have MLU? TIA!/Scott
donnie_strickland
I know of one inaccuracy on this chart: The Ricoh XR-2s/Sears KS Auto is listed as not having MLU but it does in fact have it.
scott_gardner1
Excellent! Thanks, Donnie. That's the kind of info we need. I'll update my Excel copy. Of course it would make sense to get a dynamic version posted to the Web but I don't have a personal site. Any suggestions? Cheers!/Scott
User_502260
The table shows an Alpa SI-3000 with a top shutter speed of 1/1000. I know there was an SI-2000 made by Chinon and it had a 1/1000 top speed. Didn't the SI-3000 have a higher top speed? I have two Sears KS-Auto bodies but I don't remember them having mirror lock-up. Is this just when the self-timer is used? roland_nicolas
Some bodies have MLU but are not mentioned as having this feature, because it's coupled with the use of the self timer. I know some cheap Vivitar bodies (Cosina made) having a self timer work like this (I own a pretty cheap V3000s. It has MLU when you use the self timer). donnie_strickland
Correct, Jeff. You must use the self-timer.
