david noone
My original images are scanned in from film for output of approx 15in x 10in @ 300dpi. I'm downsizing them to approx 3x4in and putting 6 of them on a seperate document for printing on labels from photoshop CS3. Now...I'm finding that some of my images look terrible when printed because of pixelation. Thos is the first time I've had to deal with a image I want to make smaller. A friend of mine suggested that I use Adobe Illustrator since it won't actually change the image. Before I spend hundreds of dollars I wanted to see if any of the incredibally knowledgable people on this site had any suggestions on how I might get better looking small prints through photoshop. Since my output will be 300dpi and my original scan is 300dpi, I have no idea on how to make it smaller without loosing information. Re-scanning thousands of images also doesn't seem like a good idea either. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

jacopo_brembati
Hi,
if you post a crop of the original and the downsized version, I can try to understand the problem.

Jacopo
