domen.colja
I've never quite accepted the way Adobe Lightroom wants me to discard "the oldBridge/PS" workflow we've grown to love and appreciate. And despite rationalitykeeps telling me to switch to Lightroom as a complete start-to-end easyprocess-driven (implied), my biggest disappointment (and barrier, mental andpractical) is to find that there's no RAW preset import module to convert .xmpRAW data from Bridge/ACR to Lightroom. Being stuck with a load of Bridge RAW presets and not being able to use them inLightroom is a de facto anti-familiarization wound that hasn't been reckonedwith and (by the digested release of CS3, it's new Bridge, ACR 4.1 and so on...)does NOT seem to be on the verge of being taken care of. Found a workaround tutorial to solve the problem, import presets from Bridge/ACRto Lightroom, but it's bulky and slow, very annoying for people that want togive Lightroom a chance, but don't have the patience and "Adobe" devotion torisk their time. A failure to love Lightroom would mean throwing it grade Aaway. Is there an other way, am I missing something, will Adobe cope with this?
domen.colja
I apologize, here's the link to the tutorial, hope it helps (if there's no alternative): <a href="http://photographyshow.blogspot.com/2007/02/using-your-adobe-bridge-presets-in.html" target="_blank">Link</a>.
