Express Camera

Have you purchased anything from Express Camera? I was checking prices on

Canon 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS USM and they had it listed for $269.00, new, free

shipping, and US warranty. Most others were listing $400+. I know if it seems

too good to be true, it probably is so I'm skeptical. Thanks for any feedback--

You've already answered your own question. Do a PN search and you'll see this seller has been discussed several times. Stick with the known on-line retailers...BH, Adorama, Amazon etc...

That's a clue right there. There is NO way on earth that a merchant can outsell other by that much on photo gear. Not unless they are laundering money OR scamming. In this case, it's scamming.

The answer is RESELLER RATINGS.COM! Got that? If you look, in about three picoseconds, you'll see that their rating is 0.39 out of 10, that's right, 0.39 out of 10. Does anyone who reads these boards not know about this simple step when things sound cheap? If not there may be no hope.

 

I guess this is how these and other crooks stay in business.
