mamiya c330 180mm super

I posted a thread about a week ago concerning the 180mm lens for the mamiya

c330, I got it today, i was off work today so i grabbed my mamiya, my new lens

and went to take some test shots. Here are a few of them, i am very pleased

with the sharpness and also the shutter speeds seem dead on. just wanted to

thank everyone for the feedback and the advice on this great lens, thanks

thanks Gene, the scanner i have is the epson V700 these negs were scanned at 300, one time i maxed it out to see how big the file would be... my computer locked down lol, thanks again

( PS. When a friend in Melbourne was really keen to work in medium format, I suggested the Mamiya C330/220 as an affordable beginning. Being her learning tool through college, she has really taken to it. Love the pictures. I have a C220 which I love using. I'd like to get a 330S if I see one in good condition at the right price.

Very nice pictures John! Alot of people on photonet believe a Rolleiflex is the only TLR worth having, the 180mm Super must be a secret they don't know about. I spent last weekend in the Badlands of South Dakota (only time of year the grass is green there) and had alot of fun using only one camera the Mamiya C330s and two lenses, the 55mm and the 180mm Super. It takes 10 days for me to get my slide film back but I know there will be some nice shots there. Regards TD
