Camila, I own a Zeiss T and a Summicron in 50mm focal length. Both are excellent lenses but I believe you could buy a new Zeiss for the price of a used Summicron, so if money is a big issue I would go with the Zeiss. Have you checked Popflash.com for Zeiss pricing? Best regards, Bill

thank you all!!! I just check the nokton 1.5 and it is a little bit heavy and BIG, so considering size, quality and price and think elmar 2.8 is my best option, what do you think?

The collapsible Elmar 2.8 is an excellent lens. I owned a copy but found that for me f/2.8 was a bit slow given that I preferred to use slow film (asa100, K-64, Velvia 50). Just use faster film and you'll be ok.

A nice compact lens and some good ones at www.sherrykrauter.com. The 'cron, especially

in chrome, and the others will be a lot heavier, but the extra speed is nice. The Elmar is

certainly a good start.
