arvay
Hi, I came across the lens being sold for Pentax 67II. Will it fit Pentax 6x7? Do all Pentaxes as 6x7, 67 and 67II have the same bayonet? Will late versions of lenses fit my old Pentax? Thanks in advance.
bueh
Yes. There are even adapters to use P67 lenses on P645 and Pentax 35mm cameras.

dougmiles
Yes, Art... I have an early-70's non-MLU 6x7 and the latest 67II, and all dozen or so of lenses of all vintages fit and work on both equally well. Nice to have such compatibility over a span of nearly 40 years! dougmiles
To clarify, there are more than a dozen compatible Pentax 67 lenses, I just happen to have a dozen... :-)
arvay
Doug, will you kindly advise some of them for lanscaping? I'm a greenface to 6*7 formant as I'm using 6*4.5 at the moment. I can't easily imagine the angles for 6*7. I made a conclusion that I need 55, 75 and 90 lenses, but I would be happy if you give me a piece of advice:)
dougmiles
Hi Art -- If you are familiar with the angles of view for various lenses for the 35mm format, then imagine the same angles of view on 6x7 lenses with about 2x the focal length. For instance, the 6x7's 90mm has about the same angle of view as a 45mm on the small format camera. Hard to say which lenses are "best" for landscape photos, as it so much depends on your own preference and vision. Some landscape photographers prefer the Pentax zoom lenses to control the angle of view more precisely once they've found the location that provides the perspective they want. The medium-format Pentax zooms are excellent, and the slower speed is generally not a problem in landscape work.
