Talk to the people about the merits of hiring a professional photographer. Many

professionals (surgeons, accountants, etc...) have to sit down with a patient/client and

discuss what they can do for them.

When brides enter my office the first thing that they see is that Uncle Bobs office doesn't have a pin sharp 40x60 stretched canvass on the wall nor does Uncle Bob have 27 years experience. I'll let Uncle Bob second shoot with me though :)

I'm afraid I can't offer a discount on services because of the overhead, assistant cost, pro equiptment, liability insurance, and considering that we're looking at 40 hours of work after we shoot the wedding (etc etc).....BUT we CAN offer less of our time to meet your budget requirements. This way you can have peace of mind on your wedding day and focus on getting married! Let's go over these budget numbers again...."
