stephen_w.
It depends on several factors: Age, condition, focal length (zoom?), demand, etc. A first pass guess would be $50.
stuart_vu
Looking through your photos, I guess it's a 35-105 variable focal finder. If all the glass is clear, I would buy it for $150.00. How's it sound, Eric?
eric_vuong
well, the lens on my viewfinder is very clean, like new, and it is a 35-105mm. I did a little search in ebay and found a similar one, but has one focal length 105 , selling at over $200, any thoughts?
eric_vuong
correction, its a 35-135mm
Troll
Fifty bucks, if you're lucky. (It's not one of the last, most desirable zoom finders which go for a couple of hundred.)
edsel_adams
Search around the web for one similar for sale, or a completed ebay sale. I'd email Steve G at CAMERAQUEST, he is the Nikon RF guru of sorts.
todd frederick
I need one for my Kiev 4a and 135mm lens. If you want to sell it I'll buy it for $50. Todd Frederick: tefphoto at earthlink.net

tito sobrinho
You have the M Varifocal finder made for the rare Rangefinder Nikon M (24 X 34) hence the M in front of its serial number. All the Nikon`s varifocal have the shape of the Leitz Vidom but, the image is laterally corrected like the larger Leitz Imarect. Please tell us the focal length engravings? Does it have a 24 X 34 or 24 X 36 field of view? The ones found in ebay are the most common 24 X 36 for the Leica as well for Nikon S, S2, S3, S4. eric_vuong
the gravings are 3.5, 5, 8.5, and 13.5, serial no. : M901513. regarding to the field of view, i think it's a bit shorter in width than normal. i want to sell it for ~250, is it a acceptable price? also, i have a 13.5cm 3.5 and a 3.5cm 2.5 i want to know the value. thank you for all the responses. i will post the viewfinder in the classified section shortly after i decided the selling price. tito sobrinho
If the field of view is really 24 X 34 its value is much higher than $250. I would list it on ebay with a reserve of at least $1.000. Call S.Gandy and KEH for an appraisal!
eric_vuong
just one more question, how would you verify it's a 24x34, not a standard 35mm? Thanks
tito sobrinho
The best way is to check the field of view comparing the 13,5cm finder with the Varifocal set at 13,5 and or using the 3,5cm.
stephen_w.
Don't you think $1200 is a bit optimistic? http://www.photo.net/gc/view-one?classified_ad_id=678640
eric_vuong
Tito Carlos Maria Sobrinho "I would list it on ebay with a reserve of at least $1.000.
