per_eklof1
I have recently bought a new (used) medium format camera and have not yet included a light meter to my gears so I am in urgent need of an alternative in the meantime. Beside my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II I have a Nikon F80 with 50mm/1.8 normal lens. It is of course possible to use this for metering but exactly how to get a correct exposure on the Mamiya? Once deciding a correct exposure with Nikon F80-50/1.8 combination, how can I transform the settings to the Mamiya? I use the Mamiya/Sekor 140mm/4.5 lens on my Mamiya. Please, give me some hints! How must I think? For instance, what is the corresponding shutter speed/aperture on the Mamiya at Nikon setting 1/180s and aperture set to 8? Thanks!/Per
per_eklof1
Well, after days of looking on photo.net I ironically found a relevant answer AFTER I posted this topic myself. http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00BKmG&tag= So, regardless of any efforts made to answer my question I already know the answer. Thanks anyway!
