sonoria
I had to reformat my PC and I can't find the CDs that came with the Rebel XT, inparticular the EOS Digital Solutions 10 disk. Does anyone know where you candownload this on-line? I called Canon and they want $26 for it shipped. Thanks in advance.

JosvanEekelen
AFAIK you can download all Canon programs (DPP, Zoombrowser, Photostitch, etc) but in order to install them you must have at least one original Canon program installed, like the old EOS viewer utility or another one. I don't know how serious the check during install is, I'd try it with a simple file renamed to zoombrowser.exe or similar. It probably won't work but you never know. Can't you borrow some Canon disk from somebody else? Canon have sold so many cameras that there must be lots of these around.

dcheung
^ The regedit technique on that page is good.
t_n1
There's a simpler method. If you have winRar, just right click on the downloaded file from Canon, and open with winrar. Then extract all the contents out. The initial setup program is the only one that checks for previously installed programs. Go into one of the directories where you can find the setup program. It will install with no problems.
