gerry thrash
Did I miss something? When did CF memory cards get so inexpensive? Seems like a year ago, a 1GB card would set you back at least $80. I just bought one the other day for $14.99! What happened? Is there suddenly a glut of CF cards out there? Or is it a quality issue? The pictures I've taken with that $14.99 card look just as good as they do with the more expensive card I got last year.
Matt Laur
You've heard of Murphy's Law? This would be Moore's Law.
Mike D
Isn't it great. I got a few 2GB 120X CF cards for $24.95. They even throw in a little clear plastic case.
nvp
Jeez. I just bought another 2GB card for $80 last night. Where did you find the $14.99?
gerry thrash
I got it at OfficeMax. It was on sale...the normal price is around $30. Still a helluva bargain compared to a year ago.
emre
Reliability might be an issue with the nonames, but if you stick with a known brand, you should be fine.
