khatri
Hi, I just bought a SL66 and it came with a polaroid back. Can anyone tell me what size polaroid film does it use ? After a little search on the net it seems that 3.25" X 4.25" pack film (Polaroid 667/672 etc ) is the one to use but I will appreciate if someone can confirm this. Also does anyone have a manual/instructions for using the back ? Thanks, Rishi.
fwstutterheim
Rishi. <p> There have been three polaroid backs for the SL66. Reading the literature the film size is correct. The oldest back was set-up for 8 exposures. Modern packs contain 10 exposures. Most people use 100 ISO Polaroid 690 or Fujifilm FP-100 colour or B/W. <p> Most Polaroid pack-film backs work the same way. The Polaroid website provides a manual. It is not easy to find. <p> <a href= "http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/photographic/ packfilms_guide.pdf">This is the link</a>.<p>Ferdi. jean-louis llech
I have the Rollei SL66 Polaroid backs manuals. But I must know which version of the back is yours.<br> 1) Polaroid back with the ASA settings and coupled contacts, and lever for exposing two 4,5x6 cm pictures on one single sheet,<br> 2) First version without these options ?<p> Concerning the films, both backs use Polaroid pack film 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (8.3x10.8 cm) and give of course 56x56mm pictures.<br> They take all Polaroid Films 107, 108, 665, 667, 668, 669 and similar.<ul> <li>Black and white print film type 667, ASA 3000, <li>Black and white positive and negative film type 665, ASA75, <li>Colour print film type 668, ASA 75, <li>Colour print film type 669ER, ASA 80. </ul> Tell me which version is yours and I'll send you the manual in Acrobat .pdf format.<br>
khatri
Jean-Louis, Thanks for the information. I have the first version without any ASA or other options. I think it was bought in 1971. Please send me the manual for the first version. Rishi.
