joel aron
I've not been able to find one anywhere, and don't see one listed on DAG's site. Curious if it's one of those parts that needs to come from Leica. I'm looking to replace the one on my new (used) M6. There's a slight depression/dent on the hinge side of the knob, and looking to make the camera be perty'. thanks again for you help!
Bill Blackwell Images
If you mean the RW lever on the front of the camera, then yes, DAG has those. “When you come to a fork in the road, take it ...” – Yogi Berra
joel aron
top left side of the camera.. the film re-wind knob, not the 'R' arm. sorry if that wasn't clear :)
tommy_baker
I think he's talking about the canted rewind crank with folded lever. Yes DAG (Don Goldberg) has them. He has all sorts of parts. He even got me two original black paint M4 rewind knobs a while back Call him, he has A LOT of parts not listed on his site.

tommy_baker
no problem Joel. Give him a call if he doesn't reply in a few days. Sometimes he's very busy and doesn't get round to replying. He is one of THE best Leica technicians in the world.
Bill Blackwell Images
Actually, I think I have one of those (black). Email me off line and we'll work something out. “When you come to a fork in the road, take it ...” – Yogi Berra
ken_ford1
At Don's suggestion I replaced the bent one on my M6 with a brass one off of one of the Leica SLRs. He said the alloy knobs used on the M6 are fairly delicate - I'm not sure if that applies to other models (M4, M7 etc.).
simon pig
Does the Brass Leica SLR ones that DAG recommends look the same as the stock M6 Rewind lever? Is it black?
ken_ford1
The contour may be slightly different, but it's not noticeable. Yes, it is black.
