larrydressler
I got a few rolls of this in trade from a friend here. It is Plus X short end film 5231 I processed it and shot it just like regular Plus-X in D-76 1-1. Camera was a Nikon N90 no S though I have a N90s. Lens was a Mix..... Most were a Tokina 18-35 zoom. not all Next time I will reduce the time a little... but This new stuff is almost Like Regular Plus-X. It is suposed slower than the older 5231 but I don't think so. http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=700222 Large scans but not real big..... rich815
Nice. I have a 1978 100' bulk roll of this I'm making my way thru. I agree, mostly like typical Plus-X. I like it.
User_502260
Actually it was not a short end. The supplier had no short ends left so it was fresh film from a 400 foot roll.
Mike Gammill
Looks good. I've thought about ordering some of this, but wasn't sure I'd like it.
larrydressler
Well Jeff I thank you.... Now I have to get through my older stuff. I will treat it the same as that stuff you sent me. Larry
ian_kie
I know there is rem-jet backing on all kodak color movie films (negative) ,so I wonder if there is the same thing on the Plus-X movie film .
alec1
No, no rem backing on B&W movie film. I like the XX-pan film @ 200.
peter_harris3
Was this film 35mm? I am curious -- I used Plus-X in 16mm class at college. This mostly processes the same way? Film class is the reason I love Plus-X for photography. If it processes the same, I'd enjoy playing with that again, especially for negative (instead of the multiple steps needed for reversal development).
