client request for videographers--can you help?

Hi everyone,

 

I've had a client ask for references for videographers in the southern

Wisconsin/northern illinois/eastern iowa area who would be willing to do a

wedding in Galena, IL but, frankly, we don't work with many videographers so I

couldn't give him a good recommendation. I told him I'd put a call out to all of

you wise folks--anyone got any ideas?

 

Whoever it is would get to work with me and my fiance for the day and I swear

we're a fun couple of photographers! :) The bride and groom are also fabulous

people, very fun and easy going, very photogenic and the location will be beautiful.

My partner and I are going to do 10 destination weddings this year for our 2008 demo - each will be done at cost. We've got 6 of this type of event booked (and 16 local ones). We'd love to explore covering videography with you and them -

Hey all, just a note that they just want a videographer for the ceremony and they weren't too clear on their budget--they're not made of money (are any of us, besides Donald Trump?) but they are willing to pay what it takes to get someone out there. To give you an idea, they've booked us for a full day at a little over $1700.

I don't want to count our chickens before they hatch, but I think we may be booking this great couple. They called today and we spoke for a while and it sounds very positive.
