Is this a problem or you can still find this part or use some other solution. Ed_Ingold Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 You are referring to the L-shaped bracket that fastens to the case? The takeup reel attaches to that bracket with three thumb screws. That would be a substantial machining job if you had to make one from scratch. Contact Nikon to see if a replacement part is available. If not, take a pass.
