vic_.
I found this on <cough> another snappy site: http://www.nuribilgeceylan.com/turkeycinemascope1.php?sid=1 They are superb panoramic snaps. For 6x17 lovers.

derek_stanton2
I typically don't like panoramic images. But, these were quite nice. Thanks, Vic.

vic_.
I don't know. In the "Reviews" tab it says somewhere on the page, in one of the reviews: <i>"It's not just that Ceylan also takes pictures of cityscapes and people, but more crucially that the photographs in this exhibition, all shot with a digital panoramic camera, look so like paintings."</i> on the page. That's all I could find.
sk_szekiat
i was gonna ask if anyone here knows how he gets that effect in PS. Even if this was film, i doubt any of the regular films render it quite like he has it. I like!
jack_palmer
Excellent! How is the painterly look created?
bill a.
I can get the same FOV (or very close) with my 120 format swing front Noblex (my "eye" is no where as good as his, not by a long shot), but there is some tell-tale signs they weren't shot by that method (e.g. how the wings of flying pigeons are rendered). Is this that very expensive, digital 6x17 camera I have seen mentioned a few times?
